Scarborough Rambling Club organises two group rambles most Sundays during the year in the beautiful countryside of Scarborough and district.

Members are offered the choice of a long walk ranging generally between 9-14 miles or a short walk ranging generally between 5-8 miles.  Occasional social events are also held

Interested in joining?  To try a walk, simply come along to one of our Sunday meet points.  See below for details.

The long walks leave Hanover Road (opposite the Railway Station) at 9am prompt and the short walks leave Sitwell Street (Falsgrave Clock) at 10.00am prompt.

Car owners assist in providing transport for those members who do not own a car.  Donations to car owners towards petrol costs are made in accordance with a scale agreed by members at the AGM.

Members are expected to equip themselves with warm clothes, strong boots and waterproofs.  Packed lunches are advised for both groups of ramblers.

Dogs are not allowed on Club Rambles.

The current annual subscription is £8 per adult and £4 per junior member (12-15years of age).  New members can join up to two walks before their membership subscription must be paid.  A walks book is produced each year detailing the walks for that year.

The club is affiliated to the Ramblers Association and is a member of The Walking Partnership.
